We skipped combing Jack’s hair after his bath and were surprised to see how curly it got. My phone’s camera doesn’t do it justice.

Jack is a half pound over my already high estimate for what he would weigh today! He gained 21 ounces in one week - that’s three ounces a day! Here he is looking proud of his progress. BTW, all weights were taken by a professional baby scale at Ashland hospital so they are more accurate than our bathroom scale.

Jack is just barely big enough to fit in this carrier: 8 lbs. & 21 inches tall.

While my Treo is uber-convenient for photo blogging, 1.3 megapixel just isn’t cuttin’ it for pictures of Jack.

This is a Canon PowerShot A720IS 8 megapixel camera with 6x zoom. I’ve never seen an LCD display so clear and bright! Still waiting for the 2GB 150x SD card to arrive. We can only take about 5 pictures before the 16MB card that came in the box is full.
